Ally is a lucky lucky little girl. She has a great daddy.
For Father's Day I wanted to surprise Jonathan with a homemade ice cream maker. But atlas... there was no money for ice cream. With the fire and having to loose out on work it just wasn't going to happen. But that didn't stop us from having a great "Daddy party day".
I taught Ally the "I'm so glad when Daddy comes home" song that is THE father's day song. She did so well! Jonathan said that he even understood a lot of the words and she did actions and everything. She did way better than the actual primary kids did in church- I'm just sayin. She colored a "I love my Daddy" picture- in brown. Because according to Ally "Daddy like brown" um... sure. Better than pink, her other favorite color to use on pictures. They even wore matching colors to church. Her in a green dress and him in a green tie. He took it off before the picture- can't have proof that he matched his princess now can we?
We also made a homemade Pizza for dinner and he got a candy bar. We attempted a new recipe for homemade graham crackers- but that was a total bust. Bless his heart, he ate them anyway.
He and Ally shared a nap and then later played ball in the house (cause that's allowed??? I'll let it slide this once)
Jonathan is a great father. He is always quick to tell Ally he loves her and he spends time each day playing with her. He watches cartoons with her- even when they drive him crazy and he is good about teaching her to show more love towards me- because everyone in the whole wide world knows that kid loves her daddy the most of the most. I did good picking him.
